Chapter 15-12

Some of our members out for a ride!

Who is CVMA®?

We are an Association of Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. As a registered 501(c)(19) veterans’ charity, our mission is to support and protect those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to provide assistance and help to individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations and registered charities. We sponsor and participate in many veteran-related motorcycle (and other) charity events each year, and as a non-profit organization, donate to various veteran causes.

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA) proudly represents members from all branches of the United States military, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force. This organization unites combat veterans who share a passion for motorcycling, fostering camaraderie and support among those who have served their country honorably.

Whether it’s coming together for a fun ride or lending a helping hand to a veteran in need, every effort counts in giving back to the veteran community. These moments of unity and support not only honor their service and sacrifices but also build a strong network of care and gratitude. Through small acts of kindness or organized events, we create a ripple effect of appreciation, ensuring that no veteran feels forgotten or alone. Together, we show that their dedication to our country is met with unwavering respect and support.

Vets Helping Vets

Veterans helping veterans creates a powerful bond of support and understanding rooted in shared experiences. These connections foster a sense of community and camaraderie, enabling veterans to navigate challenges like transitioning to civilian life, accessing benefits, or managing mental health. By mentoring, advocating, or simply lending a listening ear, veterans empower one another, reinforcing resilience and ensuring no one feels left behind. This mutual support system not only strengthens individuals but also uplifts entire communities.

Riding for a cause

Veterans riding motorcycles for charity is a powerful and inspiring way to give back to the community while fostering camaraderie and purpose. These events often bring together former service members and motorcycle enthusiasts to support causes like assisting fellow veterans, raising funds for medical care, or supporting military families. The roar of the engines symbolizes strength and unity, while the rides themselves serve as a tribute to the spirit of service and sacrifice. Whether it’s a cross-country journey or a local ride, these charitable efforts make a meaningful impact and create lasting bonds

Fun Ride

Chapter group members gathered early, the crisp morning air buzzing with the sound of rumbling motorcycles and laughter. Clad in leather jackets adorned with the CVMA patch, they shared handshakes, hugs, and stories before hitting the road. The ride was more than just a fun outing—it was a celebration of brotherhood, freedom, and the simple joys of life. As they cruised along scenic roads, flags waving behind them, the miles melted away, leaving only camaraderie and the shared pride of those who had served.

Our Patch

Our CVMA® patch has a very significant meaning to all members:
Red, represents the blood that has been shed on the battlefield.
Military Gold, represents all branches of the military service of the United States
Black, represents the heavy hearts possessed for those who gave their lives and for those that are considered missing in action or prisoners of war.
The Skull and Ace of Spade represents the death that war leaves in its wake, and that the debt of war is never paid.
